John “Andrew” Carlton was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. Starting early at the age of 19 in college and simultaneously attended the police academy, Andrew was hired by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. Choosing to work the high crime areas of the county, Andrew quickly became familiar with the fast paced life style of the streets. Gaining experience in various areas of law enforcement, Andrew worked within the Cobra Task Force (focusing on surveillance, burglary, vice, and robbery investigations) and also worked within the Violent Crimes Task Force, (focusing on quick apprehension of violent offenders and criminal gang activity). Andrew was also an agency instructor and hostage negotiator. He has received higher education from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in Traffic Homicide, Death Investigations, Interviews & Interrogations, Criminal Law, Counter Terrorism, Narcotics Identification, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Advanced Speed Measurement, and more. After a a motorcycle accident ended a 10 year law enforcement career, Andrew decided to enter into the world of Private Industry, and Independent Investigations focusing on Criminal Defense.
